In 2017 when this stamp set first came out, I somehow missed getting it! When I saw it in the new mini catalog I was so excited! There is something about happy chickens that makes me smile!

It is heading out in the mail to my kitty Theo’s foster mom… She has stayed in touch throughout his first year with me and we are grateful every day for her care of this boy , Theo, our pandemic kitty. He loves to visit in my stamp studio and find all the little bits of paper that are just begging for a kitty to bat them around!

I began this card by stamping several chickens on a strip of whisper white with memento tuxedo black, then coloring with Stampin’ Blends until I decided on a color combination that I liked. The final card used Light Poppy Parade, the Crumb Cake light and dark combo, and Dark Mango melody.

Once I decided what color my little chicken was going to be I decided on cardstock colors. The base card is Cinnamon Cider with a portrait style top fold, and the embossed cardstock mat is Sahara Sand.

FMS469 uses three small strips of designer series paper, and with the coordination that SU! is famous for it was a snap to choose the matching wood grained DSP from my stash.

The strips are popped up on dimensionals, as is the sign. Glue dots adhering the ribbon for a little color, and a sweet ladybug from the Dandy Garden suite. Tah-Dah! What do you think?
Super-cute card and using the embossing folder in the background is such a clever look. Thanks so much for joining us at Freshly Made Sketches.
SO cute!! (Both the card and the kitty!) I love all of the details in your card including that cute little ladybug! Thank you for playing along with us at Freshly Made Sketches.
Yes, the kitty adds that special crafting mojo…got to work fast when he is around or the paper and stamps become cat toys! lol
Great use of the EF. Love your colors! Thank you for playing at Freshly Made Sketches this week!
