The Fine Art Floral Papers are awash in gorgeous colors to fit so many moods…This particular page with its vibrant blues and yellows felt upbeat and encouraging to me. The person who I am sending the card to is an elegant and at the same time down to earth class act who is going through a rough spot. I’ve seen her wear bold color and the blues are reminiscent of our sorority colors.
I use a swatch card to help me choose papers and colors…just print it off of your computer in a font that you like and use two inch squares of your papers.
The sketch that started it all this weekend is FMS 470.
I knew that this card was going to feature the paper, and that I wanted to play with the die cuts and embossing folder from this suite. The floral spray when cut apart and accented with gold thread does the job nicely.
I love the classic and clean font of the sentiments for this set. A finer line allows for use of some strong color…in this case Pacific Point. Accent bling are the Wonderful Gems from the holiday catalog.
Matting the focal point on two layers of cardstock, then boosting the texture with dimensionals and the Painted Texture embossing folder detail makes this card worthy of any mantel!
This suite of products is available in the January to June mini-catalog. If you would like a copy, please reach out to me! This is the time of year to treat yourself, since Sale-a-bration is going on and the perks are amazing.
